In this role, your mission is to sell imported organic and conventional fruits. This job is all about achieving and exceeding sales targets by hitting the phones, creating new clients, and aggressively pushing Mangoes, Avocados, Pineapples on sales. It can also perform other duties instructed by supervisor.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Successful candidates have a proven ability to recognize opportunities for business expansion within key-customers;
The ability to tackle problems head-on with tact and professionalism;
Demonstrated past success in a fast, no holds barred sales environment.
Can work from home at the beginning of work.
Other important info:
This position requires moderate travel (10%-15%) to meet with retail and wholesale customers.
Requirements:
We would love to hear from you if you have:
At least 5 years of progressive sales experience in the fresh produce world;
Experience selling fruit to supermarket, retail and wholesales
preferred;
Experience cultivating and managing large volumes of profitable customer relationships.
Willingness and ability to be on-calls;
Can find new customers (wholesalers, retailers, supermarket etc)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, experience with Customer Management Systems.
