Marketing Officer
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Attending Trade Fairs and making presentation
To organize tourism exhibitions, Roadshows, conference and meetings
To contact and meet travel agents and airline representatives
To assist Marketing Manager in marketing lines i.e. advertising handling, translation of articles concerning Thailand, making marketing report/ analysis, updating travel agencies lists, creating marketing campaign and PR activities, etc.
To coordinate with travel agents, as well as to provide them with tourist information such as statistics and new travel messages in different marketing channels
To organize/ accompany familiarization trips to Thailand by travel agents and the media
To do other jobs as assigned by the Director
YOUR PROFILE:
EU nationality or have residence permit in Sweden
A full university degree in Business Administration (Marketing Major) or equivalent
Experience in Tourism industry or related
Good knowledge about Thailand in general
Ability to learn and work in diversity environment
Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Swedish. Fluent in Thai and/ or Finnish will be an advantage
COMPETENCIES:
Service minded with excellent hospitality
Like to travel since this position demands lots of travel
Self motivated even when attending to routine tasks
Ability of prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
Ability to work effectively on his/ her own initiative yet also be a team player
Excellent communicational and interpersonal skills
Problem solver
Good PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Internet
