To continue the streak of success, including increased global sales and extensive press recognition like Vogue, Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, and Complex to mention some of them, the next step is continuing to build a local presence in selected markets. Axel Arigato is, therefore, offering a full-time position for a Marketing Manager that will be central to continue the journey where Axel Arigato has a unique power to remain on top of the fast-paced and rapidly changing world, where international expansion is a key target. The overall purpose of this job is to make sure that Axel Arigato is mentioned and seen in the contexts aligning with the brand strategy.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for establishing Axel Arigato on the global fashion scene. By managing PR and Special Projects & Events team you will lead the brand awareness, reach and happenings around the brand. As a digital native brand with roots on Instagram and shoes we are in the transition of establishing ourselves as an early stage fashion house with retail presence in the most important global cities.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with several departments throughout the organisation and because of this, the ability to build trust and meaningful relationships is key. This is a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative role consisting of hard work, but also a lot of fun.
You will be representing Axel Arigato as we go along with our expansion plan and as the Marketing Manager, it is crucial that you are able to take charge, plan and execute with confidence and a commercial as well as brand-driven mindset. You will be reporting to the CEO.
The Marketing Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Create and manage a global and local marketing plan including but not limited to PR, pop-ups, wholesale events, retail events, new product launches, talents, collaborations etc.
• Lead, inspire and help your team (currently consisting of four people but will be expanded) in the day to day operations.
• Work with the Brand and Wholesale teams to understand their strategies and needs and how you can work together.
• Conduct discussions with potential brand partners within fashion as well as other industries.
• Developing a plan for PR and together with the team members making sure the plan is followed.
• Arrange the set-up of pop-ups meaning location, transport, staff room, facilities etc.
• Act as project leader and communicate with the visual team, operations, finance etc.
• Assembling relevant product and brand information, content and creative assets and distribute to the right outlets.
• Build momentum in the market through the smart use of multiple marketing tools and marketing communication tools.
• Stay in tune with market trends and be proactive to the developments within our targeted markets.
• Be an ambassador for the Axel Arigato brand with an ability to understand how to best communicate the traits of the brand.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 3+ years of experience from a leadership position within PR/Events/marketing.
• Experience from the global fashion industry and preferably brand development.
• Proven and successful relevant experience in strategic marketing, B2B business development and sales in the Fashion Industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage and meet multiple deadlines.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
