What you will be a part of
Aeronautics, a business area of Saab, offers advanced airborne systems, related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aerostructures and services to defence customers and commercial aerospace industries worldwide. Aeronautics is also responsible for development, production, marketing, selling and supporting of the Gripen fighter.
We are more than 20 employees working in Linköping, in the hub for global marketing and sales of Gripen. We are a dedicated and goal-oriented team, that believe in communication and empowerment. To have good coverage on the world market, we work in close cooperaton with or international offices, Market Aeras. Our department, Marketing and Sales Support, focuses on selling Gripen to new customers while also strengthening the Gripen brand.
You will be a part of our General Marketing team which supports the department with marketing and intelligence expertise, sales outlook, market strategies, coordination of global initiatives and management of marketing projects. A Marketing Manager represents the department in Gripen marketing matters in serveral different contexts.
Your role
As Marketing Manager, your assignments are primarily reported to the Marketing and Sales Support management. Examples of Assignments include:
• Lead projects to produce new marketing tools & material.- Lead and participate in marketing activities and projects such as airshows, seminars and customer events.- Maintain the market plan and market strategies.- Support prospect teams with marketing competence.- Uppdate sales outlook and long term planning for Gripen- Perform market studies.- Represent the department and spread market information internally and externally.
Some travelling is to be expected, but the majority of the work is in Linköping.
Your skills and experience
You have a university degree in Marketing, or something similar, including 3-5 years experience or a genuine marketing background.
You are energetic, flexible and highly structured.You like taking responsibility, have an open personality and a positive approach.You enjoy working independetly, as well as working closely with people in different teams.You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both written and spoken language and very good knowledge in MS Office, particularly i PowerPoint.
