About the role:
We are now looking for a Marketing Manager to take leadership and drive our Marketing, PR and branding efforts. We are keen on meeting you, who has a strong marketing background, can get your hands deity to execute, is media savvy and strongly believes in our mission. The role will be based in our office in the center of Stockholm.
What you'll be doing:
Your main task will include, but not limited to:
Take full ownership and lead Bantaba's Marketing department
Grow Bantaba platform user community (Diaspora and Startups).
Manage the Bantaba platform user community
Successfully implement Bantaba's Marketing plan
Explore and build partnership with relevant stakeholders
Organise relevant events geared towards achieving the company mission.
Role requirements:
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in Marketing or similar
Strong leadership and networking skills
Media savvy, including social media and content marketing
Good PR and writing skills Capable of working independently with limited guidance and supervision
Fluency in English, fluency in Swedish is a big plus
Meriting, but not required:
Previous work experience in Startup
Knowledge about the African diaspora community.
Experience/knowledge of the Startup ecosystem.
The hired candidate can eventually transition to becoming a Chief Marketing Officer.
