With offices in the UK, Scandinavia, USA and Asia, the Informa plc Grope publishes more than 1,000 journals and around 1,800 new books each year.
We are currently looking for a dynamic marketing executive in our Stockholm office.
The Job:
As marketing executive you will have responsibility for marketing and promotion of a portfolio of journals. This involves:
• planning and executing marketing activities - including mailing campaigns and e-marketing activities
• preparing marketing materials
• coordinating and attending conferences and events
• reporting on activities - both internally and to external editorial boards
• extensive liaison with our UK and US operations
The Requirements:
• University degree - preferably in marketing or communications or 2 years experience in similar position
• Strong IT skills including proficiency in the Microsoft office package and Adobe Indesign
• An excellent standard of written and spoken English and one of the Scandinavian languages
The Profile:
The position will suit a young marketing professional with an enthusiastic and creative nature and a 'can do' attitude. Good organisational skills are a must; you will be expected to handle a wide range of tasks in a fast paced environment. You have the ability to work well as part of a team, but will also be able to take the initiative and work independently. The position involves some international travel.
