Our Thesis
80% of global healthcare costs is incurred by fifteen chronic diseases. Joint pain caused by osteoarthritis (OA) is among the top five of this list, costing $189 billion annually in the US alone. With aging populations and a steady increase in total joint replacements, the costs for OA treatments will become overwhelming for health care systems in a foreseeable future. At the same time, specific exercise, education and coaching by a physical therapist have been scientifically shown to be more effective than medication and joint replacements for most patients. There is a great opportunity here for better outcomes for patients and greatly reduced costs for public and private health insurers. Joint Academy fundamentally changes OA treatment by delivering an evidence-based, scalable and cost-effective online solution.
About the role
We are looking for a talented Marketing Copywriter to join our team in continuing to wordsmith epic content across all platforms. As a Copywriter, you will be a part of the Marketing team and directly responsible for the promotional and marketing copy towards both payers, professionals and patients within healthcare. You will write and produce compelling marketing copy for knowledge transfer, brand awareness and lead gen for both B2C and B2B. You will:
Be part of the thought leader strategy and create content for knowledge transfer and brand awareness such as white-papers, blogs, case studies, infographics etc
Draft strategies and create copy for marketing collateral for both B2B and B2C (e.g. content for ads, landing pages, emails, white papers, case studies, brochures, films etc.) that drive qualified leads
Create selling copy through the power of words to both consumers, payers and professionals within our healthcare domain health care
Own and maintain our key-message house
Have our core values and tone of voice as a guideline to create clear and attractive copy
Use SEO principles to maximize copy's reach
Qualifications
A degree in Copywriting, Journalism or Creative Writing
3-5 years of experience from copywriting, content editing, creative writing or similar roles working either in-house or at an agency
Experience from content creation with SEO focus
Full proficiency in written English and Swedish, as you will also work with Swedish copy
Passionate about grammar, wording and proofreading
Keen to receive feedback
Ability to master a range of channels and deliver copy according to their varying formats
A creative mindset, with the ability to execute as well as bringing new copy and content ideas
The ability to adapt to changes and meet deadlines
An interest in health and wellbeing
