About us
HMS is a fast-growing, open minded dynamic company. HMS has 4 market units that take care of regionalized customer facing sales and marketing activities. We are looking for someone to work in our Market Unit North (MU North) marketing team which covers 53 countries served by a sales network of 20 channels. These countries include Scandinavia, UK+Eire, Benelux, Middle East, Africa and the Australia and New Zealand to mention a few. The MU North marketing department has overall responsibility for HMS marketing activities in these 53 countries, working with HMS own offices and local representative channels.
The position which is based in Halmstad, Sweden, will be working as part of a small marketing team tasked with delivering a number of marketing activities ranging from exhibitions, advertising campaigns, new media, electronic news letters and working with CRM databases. The position will also require the individual to work closely with our Global marketing department, based also in Halmstad, which looks after corporate marketing activities for all of the MUs.
The position is very much a hands-on role ranging from helping setup exhibition stands to creating graphics for our media campaigns. Flexibility is key to success in our team, with a good attention to details.
About you
We are looking for a person who has worked with various aspects of the marketing mix and preferably has some creative graphic skills. A knowledge of Digital marketing is a must as are database marketing knowledge and use of social media on a commercial basis.
The products and services HMS sell are technical in nature so a technical interest and a good understanding of technology in general would be an advantage.
An ability to explaining complex processes in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, in both English and Swedish, to our non-native speaking channels is central to the role. Fluency in other languages for the countries we serve in the MU would be an added bonus.
At the personal level, you are service-minded, able to work under pressure and work well with others. You have a strong driving force and the integrity and personality to build relationships internally and externally to drive home the marketing activities and ensure their success.
