Join our team
Join the Tools and Attachment Division as a Marketing Controller and Analyst! In this role you will be supporting us with forecasting, analysing, interpreting market situations, and linking the effect with our business. You will also have some reporting responsibilities, follow-up of divisional results and performance and partner with marketing team to develop and drive strategy.
The role offers valuable experience and extensive knowledge within the broad field of marketing and controlling. It offers exposure to the Epiroc organization worldwide through regular interaction within reporting/forecasting and participation in operational/support projects.

Your mission
As a Marketing Controller & Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
* Proactively support the Marketing team with analysis in different areas. Such as market development in general, pricing development, currency effect, market conditions and competitor performance.
Support with the consolidation of the division results in the Group reporting system. This will include processing, analysis and follow-up of incoming reporting from our operational units. Constant review and development of divisional reporting processes and analysis to ensure control and maximum efficiency.

Active partner to Marketing and Controlling Team in the development of strategy and analysis of progress. Active participation in matters relating to, but not limited to: Marketing Council, Divisional Monthly Meetings, Sales and Operations Planning, and Marketing initiatives.

Active support to the Vice President of Marketing and the Vice President of Controlling and Finance with preparation and analysis of analytical reports with effective presentation of data and scorecards; coordination of the reporting and planning process within the division, creation of various ad-hoc reports in consolidate systems, and other ad hoc projects and requests.

* Active resource to our customer centers and division management in the area of marketing analysis; and leading or participating in various operational improvement projects.

Your profile
We believe you should have a Business Degree or equivalent with experience and interest in finance, cost benefit analysis and economics. Education in international business and marketing is a plus. Fluency in written and oral English is necessary.
Customer Centre experience in the relevant field and knowledge of the Tools and Attachment products and business will be an advantage.
You should also have some international experience working in a global organisation. An excellent understanding of MS Office, in particular Excel and experience using business intelligence and dashboarding tools such as Power BI are required. We also appreciate if you have experience with the Epiroc reporting and consolidation system (ECS) and a good understanding of accounting principles is an advantage.
The person we are looking for has a strong drive and ambition. You have strong analytic capabilities and a service-minded approach. You should be able to remain calm and organized when working under stress. Deadlines in this position are important, so unusual work-hours are sometimes unavoidable. You are also expected to be an effective team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location and travel
Travel is anticipated to allow for the support of the various time zones. Travel will also be dependent upon the development of the position according to your ability and ambition.
The preferred location for this position is Fagersta, Sweden, however, we are open to other locations for the right candidate.
