Glooko/diasend® simplifies life for people with diabetes and facilitates the work of their health care providers by optimizing diabetes data management.
Our comprehensive and market leading solutions involve uploading, storing and analyzing data from a clear majority of the diabetes devices currently available on the global market - allowing patients and caregivers to easily access, understand and share the same information. This equals highly valuable support for people with diabetes both during and in-between doctor visits, and makes the work of diabetes coaches around the world much more efficient and accurate.
Over the last few years we have grown quickly and are now at the point of the next big phase of expansion, aiming at establishing a presence with new exciting products in several markets within the near future. And to get there, the search for a number of new talented and driven co-workers has now begun.
We are a global company with 100+ employees, located in Silicon Valley, Chicago, London and Gothenburg - currently serving 7000 diabetes clinics in 23 countries across 15 languages, impacting the lives of tens of millions of people with diabetes on a daily basis. Our largest owners are Samsung Ventures, Medtronic, Canaan Partners and Social Capital.
In our brand new office close to Liseberg (yes - you will have Lisebergskortet as an employee benefit) in Gothenburg we are approximately 35 co-workers. We are responsible for sales, customer support and marketing for all international markets except North America. We also have a dedicated team of engineers that works with technical development for all global markets.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Marketing Communicator to help drive the marketing strategy and its execution for our fast-growing brand. At Glooko, you will be an important part of a driven marketing team focused on generating sales leads and increase the overall brand recognition by further cementing our position in 23 different markets - as well as adding even more to the list.
With an unique opportunity to work on an international level, across the entire marketing mix, you will influence the overall strategy via the following main responsibilities:
• Manage an array of different marketing projects throughout their entire cycle. Covering every step from research and preparation to implementation, follow-up and evaluation.
• Develop powerful and effective communication, for all of our off- and online channels, to drive interest for Glooko and our products.
• Manage our digital visibility and online marketing to drive demand, including the Glooko EU websites, blog, social media, SEO/SEM efforts, marketing automation programs, email marketing, etc.
• Engage with numerous strategic partners to optimize the impact of our joint marketing efforts and overall collaborations.
ABOUT YOU
We believe that the person that we are looking for:
• Is driven, creative and able to easily spot a good communication opportunity. Has an entrepreneurial mind-set.
• Has a sharp marketing focus and at least 4-8 years of experience from corporate communication and preferably PR. Ideally within healthcare or tech.
• Is used to develop compelling and engaging content, based on customer insights. Loves to write and has a knack for easily explaining complex processes.
• Has at least a basic knowledge of diabetes. Extra credit for: a deeper understanding of the diabetes industry, the clinic/patient interaction, experience of various diabetes tools/tech, etc.
• Is 100% fluent in speaking, reading and writing english - as 50% of our company is based in Silicon Valley. Extra credit for: being able to also communicate in German and/or French.
• Is well-experienced within digital marketing and SEO/SEM in general. Extra credit for: experience of moviemaking and photography.
• Is data-driven. Understands that measuring campaign performance and drawing insights from data is essential to effective marketing.
• Thrives in a fast-paced company - has the flexibility, pro-activeness and can-do attitude needed to deliver superb work in a fluid environment.
• Presents solutions to challenges - instead of just challenges.
• Enjoys holding presentations and has the ability to capture a crowd's attention.
• Cares about the health and well-being of people!
