Are you a seasoned marketing professional with a knack for automation and a passion for optimising marketing processes? Do you thrive in both strategic planning and hands-on execution, particularly in email marketing and data-driven decision-making? We're seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to join our global Marketing Automation team, while being embedded in the commercial team for our global brand, one.com. In this unique position, you'll act as the bridge between global strategy and brand-specific execution - strengthening our automated efforts and helping to drive impactful, data-driven campaigns at scale. This role will evolve to include additional channels beyond email as we expand our marketing automation capabilities.
About the Role: As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will be a key member of our Commercial team, contributing to our overall success. Our mission is to develop a comprehensive global lifecycle strategy and roadmap aimed at fostering brand loyalty, reducing churn, and extending customer lifetime value.
In this role, you will: Manage the strategic conception and operational execution of data-driven, automated, and personalised email campaigns. You will play an essential role in building and implementing emails across various platforms, ensuring they align with customer journey goals and business objectives.
Focus on nurturing customer relationships to enhance engagement, retention, and reactivation across multiple countries, while ensuring the operational setup and execution of emails runs smoothly.
Utilise data insights to optimise email campaigns, leverage lead scoring, and develop lead-nurturing strategies, particularly focusing on cross-selling opportunities. You will work to identify and prioritise leads that are most likely to convert or upgrade.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, content, and design, to create, customise, and deploy compelling email campaigns. You'll ensure all email content is delivered on time, accurately, and aligns with brand guidelines.
Monitor, report on, and optimise campaigns to drive business value, continually improving email workflows, templates, and delivery to maximise effectiveness and customer impact.
Translate quantitative insights into effective campaigns to increase customer lifetime value (LTV), reduce churn, and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
As the role develops, you will expand your focus beyond email to include other marketing channels, such as SMS, in-app messaging, and web push notifications, to create cohesive multi-channel marketing strategies.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing automation, preferably within the hosting or other subscription-based industries.
Strong proficiency and confidence in using HubSpot Marketing Hub for automation, campaign creation, and execution. You should be comfortable managing email campaigns, workflows, and lead nurturing within HubSpot, along with a strong understanding of data analysis and lead management, especially in cross-sell scenarios.
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes and managing email production workflows efficiently.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset, especially in analysing lead behaviours and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, particularly in the operational execution of email marketing.
Professional proficiency in English, comfortable working in an interdisciplinary and international team.
We'd be thrilled if you have: Hands-on experience with HubSpot Sales hub in addition to Marketing hub
A solid grasp of lead scoring and lead nurturing processes, especially for cross-sell and upsell strategies.
Fluency in multiple languages, with a preference for a Nordic language.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for customising email templates.
Understanding of our clients well because you have experience building websites yourself.
Knowledge of the hosting industry is considered advantageous.
