The Marketing Assistant will provide support on Chines marketing related activities including the development of marketing material, representation at trade and consumer promotional shows & events, PR and visitor services.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Assist in development of Chinese marketing and promotional materials
• Co-ordinate and attend trade & consumer promotional events
• Develop and input material as part of social media programme i.e. Facebook, Twitter etc.
• Be familiar with Chinese tourism promotional activities in conjunction with Failte Ireland, Tourism Ireland & Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
• Liaise with tourism industry and government representatives to promote chinese tourism businesses
• Escort and liaise with media /industry operators in the planning and implementation of familiarization tours
• Perform tourist information services and other related duties as required
• Support up line staff where needed which may involve unsociable hours
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience in Tourism Sales & Marketing role preferable
• Thorough knowledge of the role of Inishowen Tourism and the structure of Irish tourism industry
• Customer-focused, with experience of dealing with industry groups
• Target focused with ambition to achieve
• Self-motivated team player
• Fluent Chinese and English
The work will be 80% totally.
