The Marketing Assistant at HemoCue is responsible for supporting the Market and Competitive Intelligence research projects, vital in supporting HemoCue's key strategic and commercial decision making.
This part time position is part of HemoCue's Global Marketing department located in Ängelholm, Sweden and will be hybrid. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.
You will be a part of the Market Intelligence team and report to the Market Intelligence Manager, responsible for providing insights, analyses and reports to ensure HemoCue's decisions have a solid data-driven foundation. If you thrive in an exciting, multifaceted role where you will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of market and competitive intelligence within commercial as well as strategic marketing, work cross functionally in an international role, and want to work towards building a world-class Market Intelligence organization-read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Track news, trends, and competitors in the In Vitro Diagnostics space
Communicate insights to other teams within the organization through different channels
Assist in producing market and product overviews
Support in primary and secondary market research projects
Aid in the creation of market intelligence tools and processes

The essential requirements of the job include:
Last year student or higher education degree within relevant discipline, i.e., MBA/ marketing
Fluent in oral and written English
Advanced user of Microsoft tools: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint minimum

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in/ knowledge of:
Market research projects
In Vitro Diagnostics

To be successful in this role you need to be analytical, critical thinking, data-driven and have the ability to see both smaller details and the bigger picture. You have a passion for communication and can work both independently and as part of a team.

The role is part time approximately 25 % and will suit to combine with studies or offer a perfect start for someone that has recently graduated and needs to get work experience within marketing. It is a temporary position for 6 months with possibilities of extension.
