Managing the Marketing & Sales department will provide you with many opportunities and interesting challenges on both a local and global level. One of them will be to maintain our market shares and ensure that our competitive level remains high. Another crucial task will be to further develop our existing markets as well as to identify and approach new potential customers. The work runs in close collaboration with coworkers within the Swedish units and also together with our international ABB colleagues. The position entails business trips and meetings with customers and other business partners worldwide. This could, among other things, include customer visits, product seminars, exhibitions and negotiations.

As manager of the department you will coach and develop the sales team, consisting of 5 employees, and be responsible for the strategic and operative marketing and sales work. One of your main challenges will be to strengthen the cooperation between the local sales team in Figeholm and international sales organizations. You will reinforce our proactive sales and have a central role in the development of marketing plans. This will also include increasing our customer understanding internally and strengthening relations with existing and potential customers. This managerial role will provide you the overall responsibility of the order intake for the unit and drive growth initiatives on the market.

You have several years of management and sales experience in combination with a technical background. You preferably hold a Master's degree combined with commercial competence. This is supplemented with business acumen and industry experience as well as proficiency in Swedish and English. Additional language skills are positive. On a personal level, you are customer focused and result oriented as well as a team builder who motivate others. You have a strong ability to communicate proactively and drive shared visions. To succeed, you need a respectful attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

You will be part of the team in Figeholm, Oskarshamn.
ABB Figeholm develop, manufacture and sell insulation material, such as boards, laminates and insulation components to the transformer industry worldwide. The customers are both internal ABB customers as well as external customers. ABB Figeholm belongs to the Power Grids division in Sweden and you will be a member of the local management team.
