Om jobbet We are looking for experienced market server developers for our office in Stockholm. Orc is already the market leader in connectivity, but we are now looking to expand both our offering and our development team. The successful candidates will be part of a team which, together with our other connectivity teams around the world, will take our products to a new level. The candidates will quickly take on a responsibility developing market connections in a challenging environment where customers expect very high performance and where the volume of data is growing very rapidly.
Obligatory requirements:
Higher Technical Education
More than 3 years experience of C/C++
More than 3 years experience of market connectivity development with major market APIs or interfaces - mainly Europe and the US. Markets of particular interest are: CME, Euronext.liffe, Euronext NSC, SETS, SWX, Xetra, Eurex.
5-10 years experience in commercial software development
Experience with Client / server architectures
SQL
UNIX, UNIX shells and Makefiles
Experience with multithreading and real-time systems
Knowledge and experience in the following areas is desirable:
Financial markets and instruments
Agile development processes
Test Driven Development
FIX
Maven
Cruise Control
Subversion
Java
You are a driving force who is self-motivated and like to take responsibility. You should also have an ability to learn fast and enjoy working in a team as well as being a good communicator. You have good English language skills - both verbal and written.
