One of the doers we are looking for is a Market and Business Analyst with responsibility for exploring and defining business cases in cooperation with a dynamic team of entrepreneurs, designers and engineers. In this position you are based in our brand-new office at Regeringsgatan, in the heart of Stockholm, and global travel is a natural part of the job.

Job Summary
As Market and Business Analyst, you work close to the business to ensure a proactive and founded approach on business development. You are responsible for benchmarking product and business unit performance in relation to our competitors and the overall market by analyzing product trends across the manufacturing value chain and researching topline growth opportunities. This includes following development in industrial research communities, technology startups and other businesses to identify potential partners and acquisitions.

Other responsibilities:
• Collecting and analyzing trends and demographics
• Modularizing market segments; quantifying size and growth, including sensitivity analysis
• Designing research surveys and scanning third party data to assemble updated market intelligence and customer insights
• Developing prioritization mechanism for internal innovation projects
• Developing and analyzing recommendation on growth opportunities on short- and long-term basis
• Assisting the Director of Business Innovation with development of the overall innovation portfolio and business plan

Your skills and qualifications
This role requires effective analytic, communication, decision-making and strategic thinking skills to support and help develop multi-generational product plans. You have at least five years' experience from working with similar assignments, which includes researching and creating market forecasts in the fields of industrial automation or manufacturing processes. Since we truly act on a global stage, you have exceptional skills in written and verbal English.

Other required skills and experiences:

• Presenting for management and executive levels
• Strategy development, integration, and execution
• Competitor assessments, business intelligence and market analysis

Bonus skills and experiences:

• Degree in Management, Innovation or Business
• Strong industrial network within either machining, CAD/CAM/CAE, metrology, manufacturing preparation and execution systems or supply chain
• Strong network within industrial verticals automotive, aerospace and defense, power generation or general engineering
