Job Description
This role provides strategic input and leads the Nordic and CEE HR team in the execution of Human Resources initiatives in Nordic and CEE markets.
Key priorities include creating a "One Amex" employee experience across the market, talent planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
More specifically, this role is responsible for:
• Leading the execution of all people processes for designated lines of businesses, including but not limited to Talent Reviews/sharing, Succession Planning, Employee Survey Action Planning and Diversity Initiatives
• Partnering with and supporting the Line of Business HR teams, HR Business Partners (based globally), on all talent processes
• Collaborating and partnering with Centers of Expertise (i.e.: employee relations, compensation, etc) to execute both local and global initiatives
• Supporting the integration for HR activity in the Market. Requires alignment with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and Business Leaders
• Leading Market specific HR projects
Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelors degree is required
• Strong preference for Masters level degree in the areas of Business Management/Administration, Organizational Effectiveness or Organizational Psychology
• Must have minimum 5+ years HR experience in Generalist or Specialist roles, with broad knowledge of HR and Employee Relations practice, as well as one or more specific HR process or practices areas (i.e. job evaluation, organizational design, counseling, recruitment, compensation & benefits)
• Ability to provide strategic thought leadership
• Demonstrated project management skills: ability to manage multiple, complex projects, events, and tasks, and prioritize accordingly
• Demonstrated internal and external relationship management skills
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Microsoft office
• Self starter and proactive nature
• Fluent in English
