As a Market Ethics Manager you will play an important part together with your colleagues, to help ensure that what we do is good and right.

Do you have a scientific background, a few years in the pharmaceutical industry within medicine or marketing, and believe that activities and materials should be both correct and of high quality? Then this is an exciting opportunity. Together with our "lead" in the area, the role is responsible for assessing and approving material and activities. Training, consultancy, preparation/improvement of processes are important tasks.
Responsibilities
Together with the Market Ethics Lead in Sweden, you will be responsible for ensuring that advertising material, information and activities are of a highest standard and comply with the industry's and AstraZeneca's rules. The position reports to the Medical Head in Sweden. You will work cross-functionally to ensure that colleagues understand and follow the regulations both externally and internally. Important tasks are advice, training and approval of materials and activities that AstraZeneca has. The role will also involve important interaction with Nordic colleagues.
Other responsibilities include
• Assess and approve material and activities to ensure that they follow current processes and rules, primarily in relation to advertising rules, but also scientific correctness. The role will have close contact with relevant subject experts to ensure professional content.
• Conduct training to ensure that colleagues can create activities and materials that meet external and internal requirements.
• Give advice and support both the commercial and medical part of the organization, so that you get the best solutions.
• Ensure that AstraZeneca has the right quality according to written procedures, applicable legal requirements and internal standards.
• Understand, comply, and continuously seek to improve ways of working, you find opportunities as well as showstoppers and act accordingly
• Drive development of market ethical practices and rules and contribute to the development of a driven and agile Nordic Market Ethics team
Your profile
In order to success, you have:
You have a master's degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology or another relevant field, and preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience from the pharmaceutical industry or similar.
Experience in areas such as market ethics, compliance, medicine, clinical studies, marketing, medical information, patient safety and/or more legal roles. You must be proficient in English and fluent in the Swedish language to succeed in this role.
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, clinical data and drug development
• Good understanding of advertising rules, market ethics including laws and regulations in the area, in Sweden.
• Good collaborative skills across functions
• Excellent communication skills
• High ethical standard
About the organisation
This is a consultant assignment for 4 monts, as the hiring manager is in need of help during this period.
