Market Equation Manager

The Customer Value team within Customer Offer Management is looking for a Market Equation Manager as responsible for developing and maintaining the market equation for all our offers regarding price, volumes and sales mix.

As pricing responsible you will make competitor and benchmarking analysis to develop pricing strategies for the new car projects. You will transform consumer insights into value and pricing and lead value pricing and profitability discussions in the projects. You will define the approach for capturing and utilizing competitive pricing data in all pricing decisions. And you will be the one setting the prices of our offers when we launch a new car brand in Europe and US!

You are responsible for the long range sales volume plan for Europe and US. You will be part of defining the volume strategy for Lynk & Co and based on market and competitor analysis set the sales and mix targets for all markets and products. You will also make strategic market research and recommendations as input to the Product strategy team that will help shape the future of our company.

You will direct, lead and participate in volume and pricing systems development projects, working cross-functionally and across divisions to ensure all requirements are satisfied. You will have the opportunity to shape how Lynk & Co works with market equation.

The position is based in Gothenburg, with a global responsibility.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Lead the development of volume and price strategies for Europe and US.
- Set volume, volume targets and take rates/sales mix on a market level.
- Provide market equation input - price, volume and mix - to all projects.
- Set resale offer prices for cars and soft offers.

Professional Attributes

- Ability to manage a complex offer structure in a highly competitive consumer market.
- Ability to transform customer and market needs and wants into price, volume and mix plans.
- Very strong analytical skills and experience of handling large amount of data is required.
- Experience from service or other non-automotive industries is required as we challenge the business model of the conventional car industry.
- B.Sc. Marketing or similar experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, having fun at work!
