Ericsson is today the leader in the microwave & mobile backhaul market segment. With the product families MINI-LINK and Marconi LH, Ericsson is dominating the global microwave & mobile backhaul market and has over the years continuously proven its capability for innovation and technology leadership. To strengthen its position in the emerging All-IP market segment, PL Microwave & Mobile Backhaul is looking for two new Market Development managers with the interest, drive and spirit to build market leadership in the new segment.
Are you eager to create and develop business opportunities for our new products in the emerging All-IP market segment? Do you want to participate in building Ericssons market share in the All-IP Mobile Backhaul segment? If you have demonstrated industry knowledge within IP/MPLS (e.g. from service providers) with a business-oriented approach you are the right candidate for us. A successful candidate will:
• Define and drive Market Introduction activities for new product
releases within the All-IP market segment
• Lead, transform and evangelize All-IP architectures for Mobile
Backhaul and how the new Ericsson microwave & mobile
backhaul product portfolio should fit in to that segment
• Define high level pricing and go-to-market strategies
• Drive creation of value argumentation and create customer
business cases
• Set business strategies per competitor
The positions require traveling as the work is done in close co-operation with Ericsson regions and customers.
• Business-oriented approach and understanding of the
financial impact and how to address customer concerns with
technology
• Ability to lead, transform and evangelize architectures as an
advisor to customers and Ericsson regions
• Demonstrated industry knowledge within the Service Provider-
and Telecommunications industry, competitors and evolving
technologies with a minimum 5 years of experience
• In-depth knowledge in IP/MPLS and industry certificates are a
benefit (e.g. EC-101, CCIE, JNCIE-SP or similar)
• Strong influence skills with an ability to influence and guide
customers and Ericsson regions in a desired direction
• Open, organized and structured way of working in a time-
managed manner with a permanent follow-up of activities.
• Enthusiastic social skills to easily integrate in an existing
team; likes to take initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and
presentation skills with mandatory multilingual skills, at least
including English.
• Typically requires BSc/MSc with specialization in
telecommunications, information technology or equivalent.
MBA or equivalent highly desirable.
