Main Responsibilities
As Market Development Manager at ITT Water & Wastewater you are responsible for the global sales/market development and support within the biological treatment segment. Your main responsibilities are to develop our segment sales and execute business plans for the segment. The position is placed at the headquarters in Sundbyberg, Sweden.
You will provide market analysis, develop market road maps and develop market plans for the product and application portfolio. You will be responsible for managing the pricing strategy on specific potential new orders. You will also lead business development projects. You are the link between the business unit (BU), the regions and sales companies ( SC’s ) and support for them.
Professional and Educational Background
• Masters degree within technical Marketing and/or Engineering
• Fundamental Technical understanding
• Experience (5 years +) from a similar position in an international company
• Preferably with either biological treatment or other water & waste water treatment technologies
• Fluent in writing and speaking English (other language skills valuable)
• Must be prepared to travel internationally
• Willingness to drive change
• Good analytical skills
• Strong business acumen
• Good presentation skills
Personal Qualities
To be successful in this position you need to have a strong interest in the operations, marketing and sales in order to create long-term value for the business unit. You need to have excellent communications skills in writing and speaking. As the perfect candidate you should have great interpersonal skills and act comfortably in an international environment and be able to build a constructive cross-functional cooperation. You are a team player with an open and responsible attitude. You can handle a heavy workload both personally and through delegation. You need to be self motivated and result oriented.
