Market and Competitive intelligence Manager
We are now recruiting a Business Intelligence manager to our team. As part of the strategy team the position holder will work with and drive the important and stimulating market and customer questions for Volvo Penta, and together with decision makers shape the future of the company. The position holder will be responsible to conduct and lead business intelligence evaluations, lead and/or participate in the annual planning cycle and drive business development network ? always in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues and decision makers across the Volvo Pentas organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze industry developments, competitor analysis and its implications for Volvo Penta
• Drive and lead the global customer satisfaction surveys incl dealer, OEM and end customer
• Lead and drive Volvo Penta?s market and competitive intelligence network
• Participate in the overall development of the strategy and intelligence function in Volvo Penta
• Participate in the annual planning cycle and associated work for Volvo Penta
• Participate in global demand meetings to give and receive market input
• Prepare and present decision material in the relevant forum, as well as prepare larger management meetings or conferences dealing with market and competitive intelligence
• Lead and/or participate in strategic/business development projects of various kind as applicable, e.g. in the market and competitive intelligence area
Profile
The ideal candidate has a talent for grasping the big picture, is quick in understanding, structuring and addressing complex topics, and a good business sense as well as understanding of the industry. As a person, you have an open and positive attitude and you enjoy being part of a team and contribute to the team?s and the company?s success. You have strong drive, can-do mindset, flexibility and ability to work in a proactive way on your own initiative. You communicate efficiently and form strong working relationships with colleagues across Volvo Penta and Volvo Group and you thrive when challenged with complex problems and tight deadlines. Not the least, you are curious and have a genuine interest in constantly developing as a professional in the Volvo Group.
Qualifications

• Excellent presentation skills
• University degree in business or engineering
• Fluent in written and spoken English
