Vattenfall is one of Europe's largest electricity generators and producers of heat. We operate in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a roadmap aiming at achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
Do you want to shape the future?
We are now looking for a Market Analyst to the Portfolio & Transactions department which is a part of the Market Development function within Business Unit Offshore wind. The department has team members located throughout Vattenfall's core markets. The main responsibility of the department is to identify and develop project opportunities in all Vattenfall offshore markets.
Your role & responsibilities:
In this role, you will work to support the team across all Vattenfall's core markets providing pipeline analysis, gathering and assessing market and competitor intelligence.
The main responsibilities include:
• Working with a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team to identify project opportunities
• Preparing and presenting market analysis across Vattenfall's core markets
• Keeping track of market developments, competitor intelligence and providing market and project level assessments
• Bringing a good understanding of European energy market dynamics and energy policy
• Building relationships with external stakeholders relevant to the further development of offshore wind
• Attending external events and meetings relevant to building and maintaining an offshore wind consensus in core markets

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
• Strong communication, presentation and people skills
• 3 years' relevant work experience
• advanced analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint
• International and cross-cultural interest and experience
• Excellent English - written and spoken
Beneficial
• Wind industry knowledge
• Experience from the wind energy industry is a plus
Education:
• University degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar.
Location for this position is Stockholm, London or Hamburg.
