hela Sverige Crew Chart Ship Management is responsible for the technical management, crewing and new building inspection of tankers controlled by the company's principal owners STOC Tankers AB and SRAB Shipping AB. The company is expanding rapidly and presently employs around 10 shore based staff and some 120 seafarers on seven modern tankers. The head office has been relocated to Göteborg and through the principal owners expansion plans the company is expected to continue to grow significantly in the coming years.

Your tasks will be:
Responsibility for administration and hire of crew.
Contacts with the Company’s contracted manning agents.
Developing and maintaining the Company’s training policy.
Monitoring statutory national and international requirements concerning crewing.
Keeping in frequent contact with other operations within the Company.
To be a part of the Company Emergency Response Team.
Verifying invoices from crewing agencies and ship managers.
Seamen’s wages and accounting of seamen’s taxes.
Sick leave and insurance matters for seagoing personnel.
Responsibility for maintaining HSSE statistics.
Follow up and develop the Company’s quality system according to SMS.
To be responsible ensuring that adequate resources are provided to ensure a good working environment onboard the Company’s vessels.
Competence requirements:
You need to be well suited through correct education and practical training to carry out the tasks described above. You have knowledge of the shipping trade and of the different collective labour contracts of employees onboard. Knowledge of national and international shipping legislation is important, as is knowledge of the ISM code and safety systems.
You are completely fluent in English and capable of expressing yourself well in both speech and writing. Ships Officer Education is a plus.
