We offer
Survey Association Ltd. is looking to grow our business in Sweden and worldwide in the coming years. Therefore we are looking for a Marine Surveyor. This position is based in Göteborg and we offer a good working environment as well as a competitive compensation package.
To the right candidate, this position means a good scope for development of professional as well as personal skills within an informal, open, dynamic, and sometimes hectic environment. Training in the role as Marine Surveyor will be planned individually according to past experience.
Key responsibilities
Your primary duty will be as Marine Surveyor within Hull and Machinery survey industry conducting damage surveys, condition surveys, risk assessments and compliance surveys. Furthermore you will support our internal stakeholders and customers in general. It is expected that you are available 24/7/365, and you will be travelling a considerable number of days each year, often at a short notice. In return you get an independent, exciting, and challenging job.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a strong maritime profile, preferably Engineer coupled with surveying experience and/or seagoing experiences. The right candidate will have a strong focus on delivering high quality work and be capable of working independently as well as being part of a team.
You as a person
Key personal skills include the ability to interface with people at all levels, be a part of a team, self- motivated, having a good judgement and high integrity.
You are fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language, verbal and written, and a proficient user in Microsoft office pack.
