Marine Sales Manager, Market Unit Nordic

If you are collaborative, service oriented and good at building relationships, and you have an interest in boats and the marine sector, you could be our new colleague!

We are growing our marine business in the Nordic countries and we are therefore looking to expand the Nordic marine sales team. The team consists of experienced people working with sales and application within commercial and leisure marine business.

As a sales representative at Volvo Penta it is crucial to build relationships and collaborate with the dealer network as well as the boat builders. It is also important to collect and understand the needs of the ship yards, the boat designers and the operators/users to be able to propose a good solution for the purpose of the boat that will be built.

The marine business is going through a transformation into new, more energy efficient and environmentally friendly as well as digital and connected solutions. Penta is therefore looking for people with a transformational mindset and who are positive to change. An interest in or experience of electric/hybrid, renewable energy/fuels as well as integrated and digital services and solutions is a great benefit.

The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but involves frequent travelling within the Nordic countries. You will report to the Sales Director for the Nordic marine sales team.

Job description
Work with the dealer network to support and perform activities to grow market share with new and existing customers.
Prepare and perform customer meetings.
Plan, forecast and follow up sales.
Be active in marketing activities such as exhibitions and events.

Qualifications and Personal profile
University degree in business, engineering or any other relevant field.
Experience in sales is required.
Knowledge and interest in new power technologies is a benefit.
Fluent in English is required and Swedish or Norwegian is a benefit since you will be dealing with local markets.
Energy, business mindset, curiousness, cooperative and team player are keywords in the selected candidate's profile.
