The Manufacturing Technology Specialist (MTS) is the PTP GTO expert and responsible for internal logistics area. The mission of the MTS is to define the best practice, recommend the technology roadmap and support implementation within the specific specialist area/process and to drive and develop the OD/VPS work and tools within Internal Logistics.
As Manufacturing Technology Specialist Internal Logistics you will be responsible to:
To develop and share in-depth knowledge and experience for the internal logistics area, including technology, methods and equipment.
To secure global alignment of production technology, methods and equipment within the specialist area.
To support the Manufacturing Technology Manager (MTM) with process-specific knowledge, requirements, cost information for business cases etc.
To drive the development and documentation of new technology, methods and equipment in the specialist area, including lead/coordination of Advanced Engineering projects.
To provide knowledge and expertise for production process projects, (e.g. when changing a production process in a plant connected to a new investment in equipment, product industrialization etc.)
To drive the implementation of new technology, methods and equipment in the first plant and then supporting following local industrialization projects
To support the key industrial projects within the specialist area.
To support operations with in depth knowledge of process and technology area when needed.
Drive the global network with local technology specialists (LTS) to share best practice.
To collect, evaluate and provide best practice mapping internally and externally within the technology area.
Provide input to technology roadmap based on identified business potentials.
Provide technical solutions according to technology roadmap.
Promoting a team environment and drive common regional understanding between sites.

Qualifications
With a real talent for cultural integration, and business analyses Manufacturing Technology Specialist Internal Logistics holds a University/Master?s Degree or equivalent, and is able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience.
Minimum 5 years? experience of line or project management within production.
Experience in Internal Logistics and OD/VPS is considered merited.
The position holder understands the complete chain of the logistics business and is familiar with modern managing principles and techniques within a matrix organization. This includes good understanding of the commercial vehicle and off road industry and business analyses, as well as a broad knowledge of global manufacturing.
Experience from work in a global organization and in a team-based environment
