You will be part of Components in Ludvika. Components has manufactured transformer components since the beginning of the 20th century. The business unit, which is Hitachi Energy largest manufacturer of tap-changers and IEC-bushings, is in Ludvika and we are Hitachi Energy centre for power transmission technology. The unit has also research and development responsibility for these products and markets all over the world.
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager for production investments and production development projects. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and monitoring all work related to the project. The role is organized in the production development department in the manufacturing organization with large collaboration with colleagues within the unit. Depending on project size, you manage 1-3 projects simultaneously.
Your responsibilities
Plan, organize, lead, monitor and manage all activities in investment and development projects.
Handle all communication, internal as well as external regarding the projects.
You are always updated regarding the three focus areas for your projects: scope, time, and cost.
Ensure all processes are known and followed in the projects.
Assure that "Lessons Learned" & processes are followed and are fed back to the organization using the business process and tools.
You are responsible for keeping an eye on the projects budget and managing them in time.

Your background
First and foremost, your personal qualities are vital for success.
As Project Manager it is essential that you are customer focused, result oriented and a good team player.
You contribute with your proactive communication skills, as well as with your ability to motivate others.
Preferably, you hold a bachelor's or master's degree in any engineering discipline, but it is not a must.
Previous experience in project management, or experience working as a team member in project form, is a plus but not required.
You might have taken project management courses and/or certification before or have the interest and willingness to do so in the future.
Experience in CAD and Ms Project is beneficial
Fluency in both Swedish and English is required, both written and spoken.
