What you will do?
In the role as Production Manager you will be responsible for three production plants - Resin, Formalin and the Technical plant. Soon we will be starting a couple of new investment projects where you will play an important role for the future development of these projects.

As Production Manager you will represent the production unit at site and have the overall responsibility for such as production, quality, personnel, Health & Safety etc. You will contribute to setting goals and budget, drive the execution and follow up of the outcome. Together with leaders from other functions you will be part of the site 's management team.

Your main tasks will also be to:
• To lead and develop the Resin, Formalin and Technical plant together with respectively department supervisor
• Lead and ensure that Daily Operational Review are conducted effectively and day-to-day problems are solved and contained
• Responsible for maintaining and developing production resources in line with business and HSE&S needs, including personnel, equipment, process and technology
• Deputy for the Site Manager of Akzo Nobel Adhesives in Kristinehamn

Who you are?
You are holding a relevant degree from a post-secondary education with 5+ years of relevant working experience in similar managerial/leading positions, or a closely related area. Experience in project management is of advantage, as well as experience in continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous Improvement methodologies.

To be successful in this role we believe you are a highly engaged, down to earth person that can make things happen. You are driven by new challenges with strong interest in people management, with the ability to motivate and coach your team members.

As a person you are independent, have self-discipline and have a structure in your way of working. You understand the importance of planning your activities, as well as reporting the outcome of them. Team player and good at building long term relationships are other words that describes you.

Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is a must.
