As we are currently building the organization within Nevs, we need to strengthen our Manufacturing function and we are therefore looking for a Manufacturing Lead Engineer within advanced ME Body shop.

Description

The Body Department, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Manufacturing Organization. The Body team is responsible for all manufacturability assessment, and improving the processes and tools around it.

Manufacturing Engineers for our Body shop, will be responsible for preparation of production and coordination of the various processing activities. This include a responsibility for execute our upcoming new car projects. Your role as a Lead Manufacturing Engineers will be to lead all cross-functional activities within Body shop and report to our Project Line Manager within Manufacturing. You will be responsible to fulfill our KPI deliverables, within Body shop and execute our upcoming new car projects.

The role as Lead Manufacturing Engineer involves:

• A lead of the development work within Body Shop
• The role will be to plan and check, our projects activities
• Drive our crossfuntional Follow Up meetings
• Report the actual status / project
• Drive Continues improvement, planning & follow up, virtual build, six sigma, concept selection etc.
• Responsible for KPI:s like: ME assessment, Ergonomic, Value added time, BOP fulfillment.
• Provide input to best practice design solutions
• Support mentoring and training activities.
• Be responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures.

• The team is growing and you will take part in technical development as well as forming the team and develop the processes around it
• Anchor decisions, development and status with the responsible management

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
• Manager/Project experience within automotive industry, min. 5 years
• Experience to drive different projects, within the automotive industry
• Experience in Cad modelling
• Experience from, NX & Teamcenter and MS Project / Office is a merit
• Used problem solving with sense of urgency incl. root cause analyzing
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and written form
• Ability to travel
• Driver license B

Terms

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
