Aurobay is looking for a Manufacturing Industrial Concept Leader in Skövde to strengthen the Industrialization Management and Advanced Engineering team in leading manufacturing concept development. This role acts in the global environment and you will lead early development of solutions, contributing to faster time-to-market, improved resource/investment efficiency, and reduced program re-directions for our plants in Skövde and Zhangjiakou. In this role you will also deliver robust/compatible program assumptions and targets as output from the cycle plans and Pre- processes. Drive higher levels of part/architecture commonality and re-use. You will have the opportunity to drive networking and represent Aurobay Manufacturing in collaboration with external customers, partners and Aurobay R&D Design Network.
You will be a part of a great team of 12 experienced colleagues located in Skövde and Zhangjiakou with different responsibilities and background.
What will you do?
Main tasks:
• Lead Concept studies
• Establishes Pre-program start point
• Define Pre-program team, content and consolidate all inputs for Pre-program team
• Support requirement balancing in the Pre-Program
• Identify Pre-program budget requirements
• Manage Pre-program start gateway and deliverables
• Arrange management reviews in line with Pre-program process
• Deliver prerequisites to Industrialization Programs at Pre<PS>
Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have a Bachelor within engineering or equivalent experience within the engineering area, with relevant experience from Production, Product & Manufacturing Engineering and Lean Culture.
• Experience of working in an international environment
• Leadership skills and ability to work within a team environment capable of maintaining a large network of contacts
• Very good project management skills and/or launch experience for handling complete assignments and implementations
• Problem solving capability
• Wants to travel
• Green Belt education
• Fluent in English and Swedish (oral and written)
