Position Overview
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager Dispensers, you will act as a global key contact for the development of plastic injection molding tools that are used for manufacturing of dispensers. You will be a central person in Global Dispenser Management Team within Category Professional Hygiene, and your main team members will be placed in Sweden, France and the in the US.
Tork is one of SCA’s billion Euro brands and dispensers are one of the key drivers for the business as well as the front facing end users. Tork offers hygiene solutions to a variety of customer segments and offer quality tissue and soap products together with well-designed dispensers. The product offers are developed with the customer in focus and always with sustainability in mind. Wherever there is a need for wiping, drying, cleaning or polishing, there is a solution branded Tork.
You will be engaged as a part of development of new products as well as continuous improvement and focus on design for manufacture. It will also be your responsibility to actively spread knowledge in the organization and act as an expert advisor to product developers internally as well as external engineering firms and suppliers. This is a global position and you will be dealing with many interesting stakeholders, both internally and externally, from various countries on a daily basis.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience from plastic injection molding environments.
Experience with plastic injection mold tool making (design and fabrication)
Experience in Plastic Part Design and preferably with Processing Molding knowledge
General understanding of high volume manufacturing processes and assembly techniques is a plus
Some experience with metal fabrication tooling is a plus.
Experience from working in projects
Excellent written and verbal English
Commercial mindset. Understanding of investment processes is a plus.
Ability to travel
Main Tasks
Provide technical expertise during the product development process and ongoing production of dispensers from the aspect of tool construction for manufacturing
Provide knowledge in tool management to drive protection of SCA owned tools that are placed at suppliers and better protecting investments
Work together with suppliers globally to manage maintenance plans and programs for all tools
Build and maintain a competence and knowledge in relevant technical areas
