Then we have the perfect opportunity for you, we are now looking for people who has the right mindset and want to contribute to a more sustainable future through becoming a Manufacturing Associate at Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå. No experience - no worries! We will provide an extensive education through the Adult Vocational Education Centre in Skellefteå.
About the education
To start, we will provide an extensive training program via the Municipal Vocational Education Center (VUX) in Skellefteå.
The training program is a total of 12 weeks and kick off where the first half will be performed online. You will be taken through relevant theoretical concepts through lectures, workshops and group work. After the 6 weeks, you will make the exciting move to Skellefteå and the practical part of the program will begin. You will be spending the majority of the remaining time in VUX Vocational Training Centre doing practical exercises and hands-on training. You will get hands-on experience with industry standard machinery and specifically practice your mechanical, pneumatic, electric, and automation skills.
As a participant in this program, you will be guaranteed a job as a manufacturing associate at Northvolt and be compensated for the time you spent in training, pending you pass the exams that are incorporated throughout the program.
No previous operator, industry, or manufacturing knowledge is required, but preferred. What matters is that you are flexible, curious and eager to learn. You will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story in Sweden (to start with) and see the results of your work. About the job
At Northvolt you will be part of a fast growing company with high-energy and a dynamic environment. Our production will run 24/7 including weekdays, weekends and all the holidays. The shifts will rotate between morning, evening and nights and we need you to be able to rotate between all the shifts.
As a Manufacturing Associate, you work in the core of Northvolt - where battery cells are manufactured. Key duties involve control and monitoring of the machines, replenishing material and contributing to continuous improvements on the line. You will work in a top modern facility with new technology, in close collaboration with other operators, shift leaders, maintenance, quality and environment personnel.
