hela Sverige Stockholm Water Technology (SWT) is a Swedish company active in the field of production and sales of water treatment systems.
SWT is now looking for a production Assistant in a part-time role. The candidate could preferably be a student who would like to do an internship and/or compete their thesis work at SWT.
The role of production assistant caters to all production-oriented needs of the company. It gives the employee/student an opportunity to fine tune their production skills and apply theory to practical outcome. The role will involve working with metal cutting & grinding, piping development and assembly, skid building and commissioning, relating to products manufactured by Stockholm Water Technology. The employee/student will also get the opportunity to implement new techniques and methods to improve manufacturing processes and outcomes. Stockholm Water Technology also gives the student an opportunity to work on a Master thesis related to production optimization and new process development if the position and role fits the requirements of the field of study.
We expect the candidate to have a background in mechanical engineering with an orientation towards production systems and/or optimization. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must as work will be performed in an international atmosphere and may need discussions with international customers.
