About the work:
We are looking for an experienced constructions project manager to lead our internal projects and respond to the company's management team as well as to the external project company and its project manager who hold the entire project together.
Our requirement is that you are an experienced leader in big constructions and speak and write English and Mandarin fluently.
You have at least a MSc in a relevant engineering field and 5+ years of building experience.
We expect you to have a previous international or European experience and an open mindset to different cultures.
The job is on site, in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
This role will be the link between the company's engineers, the finance department and other functions in both China and Sweden to drive the project forward at a high pace while maintaining quality. This requires experience of both construction and land contracts as well as a good understanding of all parts of the project, from the early stages of the project to inspection and access.
In a first phase, the construction of production is currently underway in existing premises along the E20 in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
In phase two, to which this job application applies, the factory will be expanded with an additional 50,000 square meters of production area and filled with high-tech equipment. To be responsible to build this together with the team, is your main focus.
Tasks:
You will, in close collaboration with the rest of the team, run several project parts from start to finish.
You ensure that the projects have the right resource allocation, division of work and documentation.
You are responsible for the project delivering according to the established requirements specification, schedule and budget.
We see continuous improvements as an important part of the daily work and to actively contribute to the unit's improvement work is therefore a big part of the job.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you with extensive experience in project management of constructions engineering projects in industry or the real estate sector.
You have broad knowledge in electricity, plumbing, operational technology and have previously applied this to large building projects.
An industrial background is necessary.
In addition to this, you have knowledge in construction law and European and international standards.
Previous experience of CE (Conformité Européenne) is mandatory.
You are an experienced computer user and master the Microsoft Office suite and have experience in preparing quotes and project documents.
The role requires, as mentioned, that you have good knowledge of Mandarin and English in both speech and writing.
Knowledge or previous experience in automotive or in international business relations is a big advantage.

Industrial installations of, for example, machines for paper mills, steel mills, extruders or other large industrial plants.
