HORIBA Sweden is the leading supplier of precision instruments for measurement and analytical applications in the Nordics. Now we are looking for a new Managing Director to inspire and lead our further expansion into the Scandinavian market.
As Managing Director of HORIBA Sweden, you control and oversee all business operations, people, and ventures. You will be the highest-ranking manager in the Swedish branch of HORIBA Europe GmbH and are responsible for the overall success of the business.
Your goal is to ensure that HORIBA Sweden is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines. Thus, you have a deep understanding of clients' needs and market opportunities, especially within the fields of decarbonization, water and microplastics, and energy and environment.
You are a great communicator and motivational leader who inspires your teams to achieve company objectives and foster sustainable growth. Thus, your leadership style is team-oriented, motivates employees to excel, and promotes a positive corporate culture. You create strong teams through effective talent development and coaching excellence.
We are looking for an organizing and delegating Managing Director with the ability to plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of the organization, overseeing our segments and locations. You are a strategist and a leader able to steer HORIBA Sweden in the most profitable direction while also implementing our vision, mission, and long-term goals.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute HORIBA Sweden's business strategies in order to attain the goals of the branch
Provide strategic advice on the Scandinavian market to the management of HORIBA Europe
Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
Ensure HORIBA policies and legal guidelines are communicated
Communicate and maintain trust relationships with clients, business partners and authorities
Oversee HORIBA Sweden's financial performance, investments and other business ventures
Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
Reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems
Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of HORIBA Sweden
Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions
Qualifications
To succeed as Managing Director, we believe you should have:
Experience in a managerial position
Experience in developing strategic and business plans
Working knowledge of sales, marketing, distribution and product line management within science methodology
Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
Proven understanding of international business culture
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Power Point, Excel, CRM, and Digital Marketing
BSc/BA in a relevant field; MSc/MA will be preferred
Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English
It is advantageous if you also have:
Working knowledge of sales, marketing, distribution and product line management within environment regulations, measurement technique and/or the automotive industry
Proficiency in German and/or French
