At Volvo Group Trucks Technology we are now looking for a customer-focused leader for the role as Manager within Product Verification and Validation, Service and Parts Assortment Engineering.

Who are we?
Aftermarket Technology (AMT) is a global entity working to maximize the uptime of the vehicles for Volvo Group Trucks brands. Customers' success is our focus.
Active in all R&D activities, we are engaged in future technologies for both vehicles and uptime services. We are focusing on connectivity, digitization and predictive care for our customers. The Service and Parts Engineering team (SPAE) is a newly formed team that likes to have fun and to learn together, and in this team you will be able to work cross-functionally.
We are accountable for the maintainability of the vehicles by influencing the design and the technology choices, we make our vehicles and components easy to maintain, and we improve the vehicle uptime, customers' success and thus the Volvo Group profitability. For each vehicle launched on the market, we deliver Operations and procedures, Spare Parts assortment and information, Repair and Maintenance Solutions, Diagnostic solutions, Special Tools and Standard Times.

What will you work with?
In this role, you develop people to support future challenges contributing to AMT strategic focus and business. You drive operational excellence, synergies with global function for our products and services. In this role you also lead and develop quality initiatives for securing built-in quality of our products, and lead knowledge management initiatives together with a global network.
As Manager, you explore new opportunities by embracing big data to understand how our products are being used by our customers. You foster an innovative, engagement and competitive culture where we attract and retain talents to develop future technologies for uptime services. You will drive teams' efficiency and effectiveness in close collaboration with the global management team, and drive the strategy and continuous improvement together with relevant functions and stakeholders.
In this role, you will be a member of the Service and Parts Assortment Engineering global management team and report to the Director - Service & Parts Assortment Engineering, Aftermarket Technology.
Who are you?
In this role, we believe that you have a passion for technology and previous experience in leading people. We also think that you are curious to learn and develop yourself in a global/multi-cultural organization. Preferably, you have experience and knowledge of Volvo Group and our business and/or technology. Insight of our customer usage of our products is also great to have.
As a person, you are proactive and responsive to new challenges, and you have the ability to manage different requirements and expectations through strong negotiation and networking skills. You have proven organizational skills, and with your can-do attitude and high integrity you execute against set targets. You are also a good team player.
To succeed in this role, we also believe you have:
A master's degree in engineering or equivalent
8-10 years of experience from globally working in product and business development within automotive industry
High level of autonomy and decisive
A strong customer focus, and a structured and analytical mindset
A coaching leadership style where you instill trust, build effective teams and can lead change as well as develop your direct reports
