Boliden Smelters, Technology and Strategy department, is looking for a business minded manager with experience from lean production systems, such as New Boliden Way (NBW) or another.

Tasks and duties
As Manager NBW, you are responsible for the control and support of the implementation and further development of NBW in close cooperation with the teams at the Smelters as well as the rest of the group. Your role will contain the following:

Lean production system
Productivity improvements
Cost efficiency
Production stability
Innovations and Idea generation
Training and development of employees

Your responsibilities include developing and leading a new and vital part of our Technology and Strategy Department bringing fresh ideas and sound experience to the team.

The Manager NBW reports directly to the Director Technology and Strategy for Boliden Smelters.

Education and Qualifications
The Manager NBW position requires that you have an academic degree and a solid technical background with experience from production and lean. The position also requires good knowledge of business finance, benchmarking and business analysis.

You have an analytical, business oriented and strategic mindset combined with a strong drive for innovation. Your forte is your excellent communication skills in spoken and written English preferably also in Swedish. Your networking abilities are crucial.
