Veoneer camera systems are developed in Linköping with help from highly integrated satellite offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Zagreb and Timisoara. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software, algorithms and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you 'll do?
We are now hiring a group manager within Vision development at our Linköping office. In your role you will recruit, improve and build upon the existing team of highly competent developers together with a growing management team.
As a Group manager you are responsible for the development of both technology and personnel. You are expected to ensure the quality of your employees' working methods, performance and competence development. In this cutting-edge environment, you will also support customer projects in achieving their goals by ensuring the right competencies are available at the right time and encouraging proactive problem solving as part of our culture. Duties also include budget and responsibility for the working environment. You will be part of the software engineering department situated in Linköping and will contribute to the department's management team. You are responsible for the development and improvement of the company's development processes and company standards in the field and training in this area.
What you 'll bring?
In order to succeed in the role, we prefer that you have
• Master of Science degree or equivalent
• Long-term experience as a group manager or equivalent
• Experience in leading others as well as building and developing teams
• Good knowledge in English
The position requires good leadership skills, that you are clear in your communication, have an analytical ability as well as the ability to make decisions. You are responsive and outgoing and maintain good relationships with people in your area. Experiences from the automotive industry and work with safety-critical systems we see as a merit.
