Volvo Group Telematics (VGT) is a part of Volvo IT and is a global organization within the Volvo Group providing telematics off-board services. Volvo Group Telematics enables & accelerate customer-oriented off-board telematics service development & delivery.
Volvo Group Telematics supports the Volvo Group whilst the WirelessCar brand is used to support external customers in the Automotive Car OEM segment such as BMW and Audi.
Business and Project Management Office (BnPMO)
BnPMO drives implementation and improvement of common Process and IT for VGT, as well as internal governance of VGT, all supporting operational excellence in our daily deliveries. The function also secures project quality assurance and portfolio management of the complete VGT project pipeline, from internal development projects to Service development projects.
Manager VGT Process Excellence
This global position as Manager VGT Process Excellence is functionally responsible for all staff within the Process & IT area at VGT. The mission for the role is to drive implementation and improvement of common global Processes, supporting operational excellence in our business deliveries. This mission includes setting a business driven strategic agenda for the Process & IT area within VGT as well as securing the implementation of required changes.
The Manager VGT Process Excellence reports to the Director Business and Project Management Office, Ola Dawidson and is a member of the BnPMO team
Main responsibilities:
• Set the strategic agenda for process implementation and continuous improvement
• Identify, initiate, and follow-up progress of process and continuous improvement activities
• Participate in Volvo IT process development network
• Coordinate VGT's complete involvement in Volvo IT process development network
• Lead VPIP (Volvo Process Implementation Program)
• Drive the implementation of VGT's Quality and Environmental
• System (as part of Volvo IT's Management System)
• Ensure VGT compliance with Volvo IT Quality and
• Environmental System
• Act as senior advisor in leading and participating in key activities
