The section 91910 operate within the Product and Quality organization at Volvo Cars, which is part of Complete Vehicle Engineering. Our organization consists of several Sections, such as Workshops, Pilot Plant & Concept Center and Test Object & Vehicle Management. We work with complete cars and with engines and power trains. During the development phase, we build, maintain, update and dispose the test objects.
We are also responsible for fault tracing, load of software in complete cars as well as in test rigs. Our main assignment is to support the development of future products at Volvo Cars, based on customer and market needs. The Vehicle Workshop consists of 34 employees. Manager for Vehicle Workshop have a small support team consist of 3 planning leaders, 1 technical Support and 1 Team leader for Tire Workshop. The Vehicle workshop maintain and update our fleet of test vehicles, we also prepare vehicles for a number of different tests. After fulfilled tests, we reassembly vehicles back to the original status. We secure that all vehicles are in approved condition before entering public roads. Vehicle Workshop is also responsible for all tire handling for Volvo Cars entire fleet of test & transport cars. We are now looking at a bright future and are therefore looking for our next manager.
Responsibilities:
* Motivate and develop staff to ensure optimum performance, efficiency and effectiveness.
* To secure that Vehicle Workshop deliver test objects in right time with right quality and right cost
* You need also to secure good relationship between the workshops and our customers.
* Work environment is crucial for us so you as Manager needs to secure that all employees follow our rules
* You will be a part of Test Object Operation and work cross functional with other great colleague
Required qualifications
* University Degree or equivalent experience
* Good communication skills in Swedish and English (both written and spoken)
* Good IT system knowledge, especially in Windows Office
* Experience of leading teams and or leading projects
Meritorious
* Experience from product development
* Change management
* Driver License "B"
