hela Sverige We are currently searching for a Manager Transport Development & Shipping Department
Transport Development & Shipping department is responsible for coordinating of the physical goods flow to and from the Central Warehouse in Eskilstuna. They are also responsible for planning the optimum transport solutions when it comes to cost, quality and service. The department is newly established and consists today of 9 co-workers whereof 6 shipping coordinators and 3 transport developers. You will be working in a dynamic, fast paced customer service environment.
Responsibilities include:
Manage a Shipping function of spare parts deliveries to customers globally
Manage a function within Transport development and work in close cooperation with transport purchasing
Ensuring carrier compliance and drive activities to maintain high performance
Drive improvement activities within the area of responsibility to identify areas for continual improvement in order to streamline processes and reduce costs
Secure standardized procedures and routines as well as drive increased service solutions
Work in an international environment with colleagues globally
We are searching for candidate who:
Has the ability to dynamically manage priorities
Possess a strong attention on deliverables and customer focus
Have a strong sense of urgency
Have a built in flexibility and mentality to work hands-on when required
Ability establishing strong relations with customers, suppliers and stakeholders
Highly motivated and solution based mentality
Professional and able to multi-task
Requirements:
Logistics experience from Transport and/or Shipping
University degree within sufficient area highly preferred
Strong Customer Service experience within the past year.
Must be advanced MS Office.
Must be a good communicator, both written and verbal
English language mandatory, other languages desired
Managerial experience
