What we offer?
We are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At the engineering department of Propulsion Energy Systems, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Traction Battery systems for electrified vehicles. We are the core competence centre in Northern Europe in regards to Lithium Ion technology and automotive battery systems.
The company target is to electrify 10% of the cars in 2020 and to have 1 million electrified cars on the road in 2025. The rapidly advancing battery technology is the main enabler to reach that goal and our journey has just begun! We are growing rapidly and have now created a new group in the section Traction Battery Controls & Calibration. Are you up for a challenge? Then the role as group manager of Traction Battery Controls is the place for you to prosper!
What you'll do
You will be manager for a group consisting of two agile teams. The teams are responsible for the functional areas "Battery Measuring and Communication" and "Functional Safety Battery Protection". The teams are cross functional and responsible for setting requirements, developing Software (SW) and testing the SW within their responsibility area.
The agile teams belong to the Traction Battery Controls and Calibration ART. The ART covers the Traction Battery Management System consisting of control unit (BECM) and SW. Together with the Traction Battery HW ART we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Traction Battery systems for electrified vehicles.
You will have a close collaboration with the Product Owners and System Architect in order to safeguard long-term technical strategies. You will work proactively with competence development to assure the right competence to be able to meet the set strategies. You will also guide and coach in the agile development process working closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for the teams.
Do you fit the profile?
You have experience in product development within the SW development area. You have a genuine interest in leadership and can see yourself developing a team and making sure that each individual gets a chance to shine. Leadership experience is of course meritorious. You have a technical education in electrical/SW and if you have experience in agile ways of working, it is considered a benefit.
In order to enjoy the role you have the ability to see the big picture, you like to contribute to the result, have a business orientation, always with the customer satisfaction in mind. To be successful you need to be a great communicator who appreciates cooperation and has the ability to build and maintain contacts.
