THIS IS THE ROLE
Testing Technology within Complete Vehicle Sweden supports a variety of reliability, durability and performance testing worldwide, within AB Volvo, with knowledge, equipment and technical support. As manager for Testing Technology you will hold a strategic and important role having the responsibility to lead and develop a team of highly skilled specialists within the measurement equipment and data collection area. We can offer you an interesting and exciting experience, where you will lead the team to be able to meet new demands in both rigs and complete vehicle testing securing the right equipment, tools and ways of working to support testing. You will work close to suppliers and Testing Technology teams on other sites to secure alignment of methods and equipment. The team is also involved in different kinds of investigations and test-to-learn activities, as well as education and development of new methods within the measurement area.

Required knowledge/experience
At least 10 years of experience from positions in engineering, whereof 3-5 years of successful project and/or line management experience
Excellent analytical, presentation, storytelling, and communication skills
Structured and proactive and able to cope with short deadlines and rapid changes
Open and service minded with high integrity
3 to 5 years of experience in on or more of the following areas: Measurement technology, calibration, data management, analytics, programming and SW development.
The team is based in Sweden and the Manager for Testing Technology is a member of Complete Vehicle Sweden Management team.
