This role has two missions, one is to manage our skilled and engaged Tender and Project Office team. The other is to focus on defining and implementing a global framework, regarding execution and warranty, for high-tech projects. Securing improvement of business performance and results of our overall project portfolio will also be part of your responsibilities, as is management and improvement of processes, systems and tools. You will participate in defining and implementing project management directives, and ensure that our process methods are according to set standards.
Other important parts of your work will be to:
• Serve as a process owner for risk and project reviews.
• Recommend and take action on risk mitigation strategies.
• Attract, coach and develop talents.

To succeed, you need a university degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration. You also have a minimum of 15 years' experience from engineering, procurement, construction and project management of large projects. Currently you work in a similar role within the power, automation, oil and gas or similar industry and you have solid knowledge of assessing business risks and opportunities to undertake commercial negotiations. Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, both written and spoken, whereas proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.
