• Develop and maintain a required range of engineering competencies in relation to the TCMS Components strategy in software requirements, architecture -& design processes and implementation. This includes the development, coordination, and training as well as performance management of all employees.
• Manage and improve collaboration with sub-suppliers and our engineering team in India
• Efficient and effective management of all employees within the development team by clear objectives and by role & task assignments. Ensuring that capacity, skills and workload are in a sound balance.
• Continuous optimization of the component engineering processes, tools, methods and technics by taking into account business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations and new market conditions
• Support and review estimations and risk in development projects, assist and participate in pre-studies on development strategies and establishing strategic partnerships.
• University degree in Software Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience
• 3 years of Management experience
• Experience of Software development, Sub-supplier Management, India collaboration, and project management
• Experience of Agile methods, real-time systems, process development
• People management skills,
• Structured and analytical,
• High level of communication, documentation and writing skills
• High level of initiative and dedication
• International experience
• Knowledge of Railway rolling stock requirements and relevant standards
• Fluency in English, Swedish is an added value.
