Engineering Excellence leads development of engineering capabilities in Tetra Pak to ensure world class products. We set the strategy, develop and drive the change. Our scope includes the areas of Engineering Capability development, Design Methods & Tools, Systems Engineering, Engineering Information Management and Package & Equipment Safety.
As Manager Systems Engineering you have a challenging responsibility for a team of 10 that will grow during the next coming 3 years. One part of your team are Global Expert Advisors, being the ones driving the capabilities related to Systems Engineering working methods: Requirements Management, Architecture Design, Verification & Validation, Line Simulation as well as any new areas that will be required in the future. The other part of the team is working as Systems Engineers in our Packaging Technology TD/PD and TS projects.
You will be based in Lund or Modena and report to Director Engineering Excellence, Packaging Technology.
Main responsibilities
• responsibility for the S-DRM in all our Technology Development projects
• lead, develop and motivate your team as a Line Manager
• strategic responsibility for the roadmap of developing the capabilities that your team is responsible for
• manage and collaborate with your key stakeholders inside and outside of the organisation

You possess a highly developed system perspective and you are seen as a good listener who can integrate ideas and proposals, and as a strong collaborator who have the ability to influence people. You will also need a good level of delegation skills.
Your professional background comes from a solid experience of leading people, either as a line manager or within larger projects where you have demonstrated your leadership abilities. You have worked in challenging industries where integration has been an ingredient. Experience of both operational and method development work is needed, education and experience training others in Systems Engineering is highly valuable.
