As a leader at EW Systems, Electronic Warfare, Telekrig in Swedish it is important that you have the ability to create engaged coworkers as well as understanding how the products function and are designed. You will lead the department to the goals set for EW Systems. Among things, this means that you make sure that the department have an efficient way of working with processes, methods and tools. You will also be responsible for having the right competence and number of coworkers in the department. You ensure the quality in performed work within the department and that the department develops to meet current and future challenges.
You will have a close cooperation with the other departments within Engineering and our project managers.
You will have responsibility for the department budget and your own cost center. You report to the Engineering manager and is a part of the Engineering management team.

Your profile
We are looking for you who have a strong willingness to develop your employees and our processes. You should have a great interest in supporting your staff, who proudly perform their duties in the best way to deliver quality, on time and at the right cost.
The position assumes that you have a good theoretical education, Master's degree or equivalent experience is a requirement. You should have experiences in integration of system building blocks, validation and verification of a system and work in aerospace industry is a merit.

You have good ability to organize and plan the business and ability to make decisions that improve our profitability. You spread enthusiasm and energy to the environment with strategic thinking, operative decisions and dedication.

What you will be a part of
Surveillance, a Business Area within Saab is a world leading supplier of systems for detection of threats and self protection systems.
Business Unit EW Systems is responsible for Electronic Warfare, Telekrig in Swedish, and develops and manufactures systems for Radar Warning, Electronic Jamming, Countermeasures and Surveillance.
We are now looking for a manager to the Systems Operations department that have nearly 60 coworkers including consultants. The Systems Operations department is responsible for integration, validation and verification of our products as well as developing and maintenance of the HW in the test environment. The department have 3 sections where the following areas are included:
* System integration
* System validation and verification
* Development of test equipment for internal and external customer
* Roadmap for test equipment for development
* Planning and performing functional qualification
