Your role
We are looking for a System Engineering manager, which means that you will be overall responsible for the system design level including a certain delegated design authority responsibility. You will be coaching and leading your unit towards common strategic goals, and develop common tools and adopt processes, such as the Integrated Product Creation (IPC), to support and facilitate their work. You are expected to take an active part in the development process and the team's daily work in order to understand, learn and contribute with your knowledge and experiences into the complex technical challenges that we meet every day.
You will be part of the Giraffe 1X Installation Design management team and report to the Head of Giraffe 1X Installation Design. In the management team all members contribute with their individual experiences and skills to creating a collaborative yet dynamic environment. You are expected not only to work with your individual area of responsibility, but you also interact with and support other units' challenges to ensure we reach our common goal to design, develop and deliver world class surface sensor solutions.

Experience of the system engineering discipline and product development

Experienced in mechatronics, electrical/power engineering or mechanical engineering

Experience of leading and coaching people

Skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions

Strong business understanding and customer focus

A coaching leadership and ability to build relationships within and across the organization
*
A genuine interest in developing organizations, teams and people
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
