We are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In Hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At the engineering department of Propulsion Energy Systems, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solutions of Battery Systems and Power Supply for electrified vehicles. We cover the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software components.
As Manager for SW component A&V Charging & Traction Battery, 97456, you will be managing and supporting software testers that will be provided to fully agile development teams that are responsible for designing, developing, and verifying software for Traction battery & On-Board chargers. You will also be managing a fully agile team that is responsible for designing, developing and deploying solutions for virtual test framework for the electric propulsion nodes. Your focus will be to inspire all team members to evolve and achieve their professional goals as well as building high functioning and good-spirited team.
What you'll do
You will drive competence development to assure the right competence in line with long term technical strategies. You will be responsible for the employees work environment and for all HR employee related processes (e.g. salary setting, appraisals, goal setting). Prepare and drive long term technical strategies and set objectives accordingly in close collaboration with the POs. You will recruit highly skilled individuals in line with identified capability and competence needs. Work closely with related Scrum Masters and Product Owners to understand my teams' situations and needs. Stay updated and drive continuous improvements related to the responsibilities while also guiding and coaching in agile development.
You and your skills
* Knowledge in agile methodologies
* Knowledge in SW engineering
+ Python, Jenkins, Git, Subversion and MATLAB
+ ECU Build systems
+ CI chain
+ HIL environments
* Master degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or several years of relevant experience
* Have minimum 5 years' experience of development work in the automotive industry, knowledge of VCC development process in general and the electrical development process.
* Knowledge of testing, electrical architecture & High Voltage Systems
* Management experience is meritorious
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
